The Tourist Wellbeing Project is being developed in Madeira and Porto Santo Islands. Both are part of what is known as Madeira Archipelago plus the Desertas and the Selvagens Islands. These last two are inhabited but protected nature reserves that are home for some beautiful species such as "Lobo Marinhos" (Sea Lions).

Madeira is known for its nature, beautiful landscapes and seascapes. For its world-renown small water canals ("Levadas") where you can walk from the seashore to the deepest of the mountains.

Culture and traditions and some major festivals, such as the End of the Year Fireworks or the Flowers Festival, also make Madeira a unique place to visit.

Winner of several World's Leading Island Destination and Europe's Leading Island Destination Awards, Madeira is a great choice for a one-of-a-kind experience!
